RSS is a part of The Dupps Company, a 4th generation family owned and operated business dedicated to partnering with industries that help renew, recycle and sustain. From its headquarters and plant in suburban Atlanta, RSS manufactures Harmonite®, a unique multifunctional, versatile powder that can be used as an economical base compound for building new product formulations, and enhance the performance and economy of existing ones.
Developed through The Dupps Company's high-temperature processing and mechanical reduction expertise, RSS uses a patented process to produce Harmonite from recycled asphalt roofing shingles, a 100% post-consumer organic/inorganic composite powder. The result is a highly resinous, value-added product for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomer compounds used in residential & commercial construction, industrial and other related industries. The manufacturing plant, commissioned in 2015 has a nominal capacity to produce up to 50,000 tons/year of Harmonite powders.
