Nonstaining and nondiscoloring stearic acid. Used as a gelling agent, anti-caking agent, chemical intermediate, emulsifier, foam dispersant, mold-release agent, resin stabilizer and suspension agent. Applications include Abrasives, buffing compounds cleaners, cosmetics, cutting oils. lubricants, paints, waxes, plastics, rubber compounding, textile and water repellants
