Super White Protopet

is a White Petrolatum USP meeting requirements for USP (current revision) and FDA requirements as per 21 CFR 172.880. It also meets the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia of Japan.

Petrolatums add lubricity and moisture resistance to lotions, creams, ointments, and hand cleaners. In jar candles, the addition of petrolatum affects the crystallinity of the waxes to give a smoother, more pleasing appearance. In metal polishes and buffing compounds, petrolatums protect against moisture and corrosion.
